Cookie policy
Version of 3 November 2026. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” button at the bottom of every page.
How the notice works
Cookies and local storage are small files and records that a website saves in your browser. Portuguese Law 41/2004 (art. 5) only allows storing, without asking, what is strictly necessary for the website to work or for a service you requested. Everything else needs your consent.
On your first visit a notice appears with two buttons of the same size: “Accept” and “Refuse optional”. Before you choose, nothing optional loads: the Meta pixel only loads after “Accept”. If you refuse, the website works just the same.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” button at the bottom of every page, which opens the notice again. If you switch to refusing, we delete this website's measurement cookies and the page reloads without the pixel. Your choice is kept in this browser until you change it or clear the website's data.
Essential (always on)
rm_cookies · local storage, ours, no expiry. Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again.
rm_sessao · local storage, ours, no expiry. A random number, created when you use the assistant or send a form. It keeps the conversation across pages and links it to your request in the CRM.
rm_chat_v1 · local storage, ours, until you clear the website's data. Stores the last 40 messages of your conversation with the assistant and whether you have already left your details, so the conversation is not lost when you change page.
rm_chat_convite_v1 · local storage, ours, until you clear the website's data. Remembers that the assistant's invitation has already appeared, so we do not show it again. It holds no personal data.
Measurement (only if you accept)
rm_origem · our cookie, 30 days. Stores where you came from (a campaign's utm parameters, a source code or the website you came from), the date and the first page you opened, so we can attach that source to your request if you send a form.
_fbp · cookie on our domain, set by the Meta pixel, 90 days. Identifies your browser so Meta can measure visits and conversions and show ads.
_fbc · cookie on our domain, 90 days. If you arrived through a Meta ad, it stores that click's code (fbclid), so Meta knows which ad you came from.
Meta cookies on facebook.com (for example, fr) · third-party, if your browser allows them, with the duration Meta sets. More in Meta's cookie policy.
With your yes, when you send a form, our server also reads the _fbp and _fbc cookies and sends Meta a record of the request through the Conversions API, as explained in the privacy policy. We use no other measurement or advertising tools on the website.
In the app (app.ricardomendoza.pt)
The app has no pixel and no measurement tools. On your phone it only keeps what it needs to work, in local storage. “Sign out” deletes everything except the language and notification preference.
ra:sessao · up to 90 days or until you tap “Sign out”. Your session (a session token, your email and name), so you do not need a new code every time you open the app.
ra:perfil · until you clear the app's data. Your language and notification preference.
ra:chat · until you tap “New conversation” or “Sign out”. Your conversation with the assistant on this phone.
ra:teste · until you tap “Sign out”. The last Saboteurs Test result opened in the app and whether it has been sent to your record.
App files · kept by the browser (service worker) until a new version comes out. They let the app open without a connection. They hold no personal data.
How to delete or block them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you delete them, the cookie notice appears again and your conversation with the assistant is lost. If you block essential storage, the assistant and the app may not work.
