Terms and conditions
Version of 3 November 2026. Rules for using the website, the app and the assistant, and terms for booking RMI's experiences.
Who we are
This website and the app belong to Resultados Máximos Internacional, Unipessoal, Lda. (RMI), a Portuguese single-member private limited company with its registered office at Avenida Menéres, 384, 2.º Esq. Trás, 4450-189 Matosinhos, Portugal, registration and tax number 510 717 837. RMI runs Ricardo Mendoza's training, immersions, mentoring and talks.
Contact: info@ricardomendoza.pt, +351 917 054 002 (a Portuguese mobile number) and WhatsApp on the same number.
These terms follow, among others, Portuguese law on electronic commerce (Decree-Law 7/2004), on distance contracts (Decree-Law 24/2014) and the Consumer Protection Law (Law 24/96). Nothing here reduces the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
What they apply to
They apply to anyone using the ricardomendoza.pt website, the app (app.ricardomendoza.pt) and the AI assistant, and to bookings for RMI's experiences. The terms of each edition or proposal complete these terms; if they differ, the edition or proposal terms apply, as long as they do not take away rights the law gives you.
How we use your data is explained in the privacy policy, and cookies in the cookie policy.
Using the website and the app
You can use the website and the app to find information, talk to us and book. You may not: use bots or programs to send forms or copy content in bulk; try to access restricted areas or disrupt the service; send illegal or offensive content or advertising; or pretend to be someone else.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules. We do our best to keep the website available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or due to third-party failures.
Account and app
The app is free. To sign in, you type your email and receive a 6-digit code, valid for 10 minutes. The session lasts 90 days on that device, or until you tap “Sign out”.
Your account is personal: do not share the code. If you think someone signed in with your email, let us know. We may suspend an account used abusively. To delete your account and data, write to info@ricardomendoza.pt.
The index and saboteurs shown in the app come from the Saboteurs Test. They are a tool for reflection, not a diagnosis.
The AI assistant
The assistant on the website and in the app is an artificial intelligence system, not Ricardo and not a member of the team, and it tells you so on its first screen (article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It answers with the information published on the website.
It can make mistakes. Prices, dates and venues come from fixed texts on the website; if a reply does not match what is on the pages, the pages prevail. The assistant does not give medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, makes no decisions about you and does not replace the team.
It is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call 112. In Portugal, SNS 24 (808 24 24 24) offers psychological counselling. When a message mentions a crisis, the assistant shows these lines straight away.
Do not use the assistant to send sensitive data, to try to change its instructions or for automated messages. We may limit the number of messages per conversation or per day.
Requests and applications are not purchases
Sending a form (contact, “Save my seat”, “Keep me posted”, a proposal request) is a request: it is not a purchase and does not commit you to anything. The team contacts you to confirm the seat and the terms.
Applying (mentoring, Mentoria Estado Único, Um Ano Único, IES Trainers, Team RM) is not a purchase either. The team talks to you and explains the terms. RMI may decline an application; when it does, we tell you.
Paid bookings: price, payment and confirmation
At the moment, no experience is bought directly on the website. Your booking is made when you accept the terms the team sends you and pay through the payment link or with the details we give you.
Before you pay, you receive in writing what the edition includes, the date, the venue, the final price, how to pay and whether you have a right of withdrawal. Prices are in euros and final: they include VAT when it is due. The price you pay is the one confirmed to you before payment.
Seats are limited to the room's capacity. Your booking is only confirmed once payment is received, and we send you the confirmation by email. We issue the invoice as the law requires; if you want it with your own or your company's tax number, tell us before paying.
The experiences are delivered in Portuguese, unless the edition page says otherwise.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
For contracts made at a distance (by email, phone, WhatsApp or payment link), you have 14 days from the date of the contract to withdraw, without giving reasons and at no cost (Decree-Law 24/2014, art. 10). Just tell us in writing at info@ricardomendoza.pt; you may use the withdrawal form annexed to that law, but you do not have to. We refund what you paid within 14 days, using the same payment method.
If the edition starts before the 14 days are over and you want to take part, we ask you to say so in writing. If you withdraw after it has started, you only pay for the part already provided (art. 15).
Exception: the law gives no right of withdrawal for services related to leisure activities with a specific date or period (art. 17(1)(l) of the same decree-law), for example a ticket for an event on a set day. When an edition falls under this exception, we tell you in writing before you pay. Exceptions are read strictly: if we do not tell you, you have the 14 days.
If RMI cancels or changes an edition
If RMI cancels an edition, we refund everything you paid within 14 days or, if you prefer, move your booking to another date.
If RMI changes the date, the venue or who leads the edition, and the change matters to you, you can choose to keep your booking, move it to another edition or get back everything you paid. We tell you by email or phone as soon as the change is decided.
If you want to cancel after the 14 days
Outside the right of withdrawal, the cancellation terms of each edition (deadlines and refunds, if any) are those on that edition's page or in the terms we send you before you pay.
Companies and clubs
For talks, training and programmes for companies and clubs (Companies, Corporate RM, ADN Campeões), the terms of the accepted proposal apply: price, payment, dates, cancellation and use of images. Consumer-specific rights, such as withdrawal and consumer arbitration, do not apply to business-to-business contracts.
What the experiences are, and are not
The training, immersions, mentoring and talks are personal and professional development. They do not replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care, nor are they financial or legal advice. Results depend on each person and we do not promise them.
Some experiences include physically or emotionally demanding moments. If you have a health condition, talk to your doctor before booking. You can always decline to take part in an exercise.
When a course gives a certificate, its page says who issues it.
Intellectual property and trademarks
The texts, photos, videos, logos and design of the website and the app belong to RMI, to Ricardo Mendoza or to their authors. The names Ricardo Mendoza, RMI, Mentes Gigantes, Código EU, IES Trainers, MomentUM, Corporate RM, ADN Campeões and Team RM, the names of the other experiences and their logos are distinctive signs used by RMI.
You may view, share links and quote short extracts with the source. You may not copy, alter, sell or use these contents or signs for commercial purposes without RMI's written permission. Materials handed out at the experiences are for the personal use of participants only.
Links to other websites (social networks, the press, WhatsApp) are there for information; the content and rules of those websites are the responsibility of their publishers.
Testimonials, photos and video
We only publish your testimonial, name or image with your permission, and you can withdraw it at any time: we remove the content from the pages we control.
There may be photography and video at events. When there is, we let you know before it starts, and you can ask the team not to appear in published images.
Liability
We do our best to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse of the website, by failures of third-party services or by force majeure.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, in particular in cases of intent or gross negligence (Decree-Law 446/85, art. 18), and they do not reduce the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, talk to us first at info@ricardomendoza.pt. You can also file a complaint in the electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico).
For consumer disputes, you can use an alternative dispute resolution body (Law 144/2015): CICAP, the Porto Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre, for the Porto metropolitan area, where RMI has its registered office; CNIACC, the National Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre, for areas without a regional centre; or the arbitration centre for the area where you live, which is usually the competent one for distance purchases. The full list is on the Portuguese Consumer Portal.
In consumer disputes up to €5,000, if you choose arbitration or mediation at one of these centres, RMI must accept it (Law 24/96, art. 14(2)). If RMI joins an alternative dispute resolution body, we will say so here.
If you live in another European Union country, you can ask the European Consumer Centre in your country for help (ECC-Net).
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory rules. Disputes with consumers are settled by the courts with jurisdiction under the law, without prejudice to the alternative dispute resolution above. For contracts with companies, the courts of the Porto district (comarca do Porto) have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with its date. Bookings already paid follow the terms accepted at the time.
